These beautiful leaves of the rubber tree plant native to Thailand are soaked in water to remove their flesh, and what remains is the lovely delicate (yet strong!) skeleton of the leaf with its thousands of intricate veins! The leaf is then sprayed with a Copper Metallic paint quite like the sheen of a shiny penny! Lovely, durable and versatile!
